Day-to-Day Schedule

Caring for your dog is my full-time passion seven days a week!

Each day begins with a morning potty break as soon as those paws hit the floor, followed by breakfast at 7:00 AM. Throughout the day, dogs are let out every 2–3 hours for potty breaks and plenty of outdoor play. If the weather’s nice, they’re welcome to stay outside as long as they like. On rainy days, we keep the fun going indoors with toys, games, and cozy hangouts.

We also love to celebrate the seasons!
In the summer, the doggy pools come out for splash parties and sunbathing.
In the winter, we bundle up for snowy playtime chasing snowballs, making paw prints, and enjoying the magic of a good snow day.

Dinner is served at 7:00 PM, and we wind down with one last potty break before bedtime, plus a special bedtime treat, of course!

At night, pups can sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether it’s curled up in a bed, snuggled on the couch, or tucked into their favorite cozy corner.

Safety

The safety and well-being of the pack is always our top priority.

We’ve carefully designed our home and yard to be as dog-friendly and secure as possible. When your dog arrives, they’ll be introduced to the pack one at a time to ensure a calm, low-stress welcome.

Our yard is fully fenced, and we use gates indoors to block off access to the front door and other off-limits areas. All playtime is supervised. We also have dog cameras running at all times to help us keep a close eye on things, even when we step out briefly.

We require a meet & greet before your dog’s first stay to make sure everyone is a good fit. If any pup is having a hard time getting along, they’ll be gently separated from the group and cared for in a calm, safe space until pickup.

At Kara’s Dog House, your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness come first.
