Hi, I’m Kara, and alongside my husband David, we’re proud to be second-generation pet sitting pros. At Kara’s Dog House, we offer in-home, crate-free dog boarding and daycare for pups of all breeds and sizes, right here in the beautiful Echo Lake region of Snohomish, Washington.

 

We’ve always dreamed of creating the perfect home for a pet-sitting paradise, and in August 2019, we found it, our cozy house on a private, tree-lined acre with a fully fenced yard and plenty of space to roam.

 

Here, your dog isn’t just another guest, they’re family. Our home is their home. That means free access to the house, endless backyard adventures, and a relaxed, stress-free environment. For the high-energy pups, we keep the toys out and the games going, from tug-of-war to spirited rounds of fetch. For the more mellow guests, there are open bedrooms for quiet naps and plenty of cozy corners to curl up in. And yes, the TV stays on for those who like a little background noise!

 

We believe happy dogs are tired dogs, so we make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise and stimulation during their stay. Our goal is to create a home-away-from-home where your dog feels safe, loved, and totally at ease.

 

And while your pup is living their best life, we’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your trip with peace of mind knowing your furry friend is on vacation too.
